This variety grows very well in the cool martime climate of Balnarring. The new release of the 2005 version, shows a distinctly “sauvignon blanc” freshness and zestiness. The usual saltiness of Pinot Grigio is still there, but this wine is not as rich as its predecessor but fresher in flavour with the faintest pink tinge from the pink Pinot Grigio grape. Ideal with seafood and flavoursome foods and will handle spiciness and curry flavours.
